Addington Palace is such a dreamy wedding venue – and the perfect backdrop for this super pretty civil ceremony. Seema looks every bit the princess bride in her gorgeous Alfred Angelo gown. Be sure to take a look at all the pictures of her dress. All the beading, that skirt and train – it’s such a beauty.

The beautiful dresses
Seema, the bride: I found my wedding dress, a beautiful embellished Alfred Angelo gown at Love Me Do Brides in Kingston. It was the perfect princess gown for our Addington Palace wedding. I wore a different dress for the evening, a heavily embellished indian inspired dress from Tehxeeb London.
A purple Addington palace wedding
We knew we wanted a classic wedding and I love purple so it became our theme! It was used for our flowers, cake, my evening dress, lights, table decorations and wedding favours. My Maid of Honour found a beautiful, and very sparkly dress online to tie in with the theme – she looked incredible.
Wedding cake and favours
Our cake and favours were created by Sponge Boutique. They made sure our purple theme was included!
We bought our rings from Abiba Jewellers in Hatton Gardens. The team there were great.
Soon after the wedding, we left for our honeymoon. We chose South Africa and Mauritius – it was magical!
Words of Wisdom
Plan ahead and work together to avoid stress!
Thanks so much to Seema and Gavin for sharing their beautiful day. And of course Fiona Kelly for these beautiful images.
